Naba Gunjan 2022

In 6th edition of Naba Gunjan, M Shembagam, Chief Executive Officer, TPCODL, Sri Prabodh Rath,Secratary, OSNA and Rabindranath Mohanty, Managing trustee, KVK, graced our festival as our honourable guests and inaugurated the program.
The evening was mesmerized with the beautiful performances by different young dancers.

 

Gunjan conducted a dance competition on 6th series of “Naba Gunjan”.

Debasmita Mahana was the winner of this competition. Jingyasa Suvadarshini wins the 2nd prize and Shrabani Mohanty wins the third prize.

 

Gunjan Dance Academy celebrated its 6th edition of Naba Gunjan at Kala Vikash Kendra, Cuttack.

 

 

Keeping the tradition and root intact Gunjan Organizes “Naba Gunjan”. To be held OFFLINE on 13th August 2022 at Kala Vikas Kendra, 10:30am.

 

Odissi Nrutya Natika Utshav

Department of Odiya language, literature and culture, Odisha, Sangeet Natak Akademi, Odisha has organized a three day Odissi dance festival titled “Odissi Nrutya Natika Utshav” celebrating “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of Indian Independence.
On this occasion, the festival celebrated the lives of great patriots who have laid down their lives for India’s independence.
Gunjan dance academy performed “Utkalamani”, the life sketch of Gopabandhu Das, on the 17th June 2022 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar.

Silver Jubilee of Gunjan Dance and Music Festival

This year we celebrated our silver jubilee of Gunjan Dance and Music Festival on 26th, 27th and 28th November 2021 at Sahid Bhawan, Cuttack. Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Prof. Sri Ganeshi Lal ji inaugurated the program.
Mr. Satyajit Mohanty,Chairman OPSC, Prof. Ashish Mohan Khokar, Eminent Art Critic, Sri Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism and Culture, Govt.of Odisha, Sri. Ranjan Kumar Das, Director cum Adtl. Secretary, Department of OLLC, Govt. Of Odisha, Sri. Prabodh Ratha, Secretary, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi graced our festival as our honourable guests and encouraged us in different days. This year Nibedita Patnaik Samman was conferred to Padmavibhusan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, M.P, Rajyasabha. With the blessings of lord Jaganath, love and best wishes from the art lovers and Rasikas, we completed our festival with a grand success.

Gunjan Sandhya

“Gunjan Sandhya” an exclusive Odissi Dance recital by the senior disciples presenting the unique choreographies of Guru Smt Meera Das at Utkala Ranga Manch, Bbsr. The evening started with Jagannath mangalam, followed by a Pallavi set to Taal Kirwani. Then ‘Bindu ru Sindhu’ a Dance drama depicting characteristics of rivers ,  and merging of rivers finally to their destination i.e. Ocean. The evening concluded with ‘Sarva Mangalam’ a shanti mantra praying peace & abundance for everyone.
