Smt. Meera Das performed in 25th Guru PANKAJ UTSAV where she presented  a new choreography of her “Srirampreyasi” which describes  the story of Sita when she was in Ashoka bana.

Guru Smt Meera Das along with her senior disciples performed yesterday at Ravenshaw University on the occasion of the concluding day of the annual fest.
We are very thankful to the VC and all the faculties for making the program successful.

 

 

Senior disciples of Guru Smt Meera Das performed in the prestigious Mukteswar Dance Festival, Bbsr. The dancers started the recital with pallavi in Raag desh set to Rupak taal followed by “Shiva Panchakshar Stotram” and the evening culminated with “Rudra pranam”.. We are very thankful to Govt of Odisha, Dept of tourism & culture..

 

Smt Meera Das performed in Antardrishti (93rd birth anniversary of Padmavibhusan Guru Shri kelucharan Mohapatra ) at rabindra mandap.
She performed Sakhi he as a tribute to the legendary soul and which is one of the finest choreography of guruji…

Gunjan Dance Academy presented a Dance Drama titled “Meera Divine Love Story” at Sarala Bhawan, Cuttack on 27th January 2018 . The presentation was a testimony to its forte in creating some unique & innovative with in the framework ok Odissi grammar. The choreography by Guru Smt Meera Das was woven with Dance, Passion & Devotion, based on the life of Meera Bai who was a valour princess born in the early 16th century in a royal family of Rajasthan. She is known for her devotion for Giridhar Gopal or Lord Krishna. She was immune to the criticism & suffering of the world and at last in her death she melted into the heart of Krishna .
We are very much thankful to Ministry of culture, Government of India for providing financial assistance for the event.
